Good nights in manchester?
A good friend of mine who i havent seen for years is coming down to stay over for the night, got tickets to man city v newcastle and are goin to get lashed afterwards in town.
Problem is i dont really go into town much anymore, and need to find somewhere thats a bit more chilled rather than going around deansgate locks/printworks as it would be nice to have a chat and catch up rather than being somewhere thats really loud and packed and full of pissed muppets ( before anyone says it, yes i know im gettin old
).
Needs to be somewhere that stays open till 2-3 ish aswell
Does anyone have any ideas

try the northern quarter thats good,
or go to that bar in the beetham tower. i looked in the other day the views are breathtaking.
china town or rusholme.
most places are going to be busy after the game because people will be watchin it in the pub.
if you do want to go somewhere quiet though i have the pefect place
you wont be disturbed here

Dunno what it was called, but a few years back I went to a club in a pretty rough area (went over wasteground to get to it). Nicely hot'n'sweaty , and that was mid-week.
Anyway, went up to this bonnie red-headed lass on the dancefloor and asked her for a dance. She went "Nah, Ahm with her", and proceeded to snog her mate and stick her hand up her skirt !!

, has been refurbished recently though, I love the place, great place to go if you love music and dancing!!Comedy store is a good idea as gav mentioned, the show starts around 8 and finishes around 10 ish which is when things get going in town!!

A lot of clubs in manchester are full of drugs, doesn't mean its a bad place to go. I've never taken any drugs in my life and I just ignore the loosers that feel the need to take them for a good night!!
