stop moanin about speed cameras.
it is simplicity itself dont speed = avoid points.
i dont know why it causes such a huge controversy.,.
if thats the speed limit. observe it.
if you are stupid enough not to notice a big box on a tall pole right by the side of the road, you wont see a child there, or an old dear or a dog etc
in my opnion you shouldnt have a driving licence.
because you are hard of thinking.
i know im gonna get it in the neck
but for me there isnt an issue over it

I got flashed the other day.. Was a Gatso FACING me, so doubtful if anything will come though.
I WAS speeding and somehow I did it in the (super)Corsa up a steep hill, which is an achivement in itself
FWIW I speed all the time, and have had a clean license for the entire 10 years that I've had it. Shows how good they work

Yep, moaning is kinda fun in itself anyway !!
Through my work I visited a farmer in the Scottish Borders a few years back.
When I turned up at his farm I noticed the Gatso outside his house was burnt out. When I asked him if he knew who did it he just winked at me and said that it was the second time it had happened in 2 weeks, and that "there were certain advantages to living in the countyside" !!

but aloso obscenely stupid to destroy something that will get rebuilt again out of his own taxes.

Just in case it is a serious question rather than a troll ..
I got a fine through the post a couple of months back for going 5mph over a 60mph limit on a deserted motorway at 0600 in the morning (average speed camera).
That's obviously the wrong speed limit for that type of road and the circumstances. Luckily the fine was tiny and there are no 'points' where I live, so I am not deterred in the slightest!
