Default Gotcha..!!!!!

A 53-year-old man is appearing in court charged with the murder of a schoolgirl who disappeared more than 30 years ago.

Ronald Castree, from Oldham, Greater Manchester, will face Calderdale Magistrates in Halifax, West Yorkshire, charged with the murder of Lesley Molseed.

The 11-year-old disappeared on October 5, 1975, after leaving her home in Delamere Road, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, to run an errand for her mother.

Three days later her body was discovered on open moorland above the A672 Oldham to Halifax Road in Ripponden, West Yorkshire.
She had been stabbed 12 times.

DNA does it again

I wonder if he should suffer (if guilty) the penalties that were in force in 1975?

When was hanging abolished?

Took you lot long enough! I just wonder how many times he managed to slip through the 'net' first though...

He could be Saddams official rope tester though, and it would save the cost of a bag of sand

Yep, we need to find someone about the same weight as Saddam to check what length of rope we're gonna need ! Is Prescott too hefty ??

You can't use Prescott as that would give him something useful to do and we can't have that!

This is a doubly sad case because another guy did a lot of time after being found guilty. He went a bit mad in prison and has lost family etc. whilst inside. Makes you seriously question how many miscarraiges of justice there still are....

And he Died a Year after being released .

Interesting to see if the guy that actually killed the girl serves more time than the innocent man - I suspect not

whoopy f*kin doo thats one out of how many?? prhaps if you did as much to deal with the chav hoody lout brigade that terrorise comunitys at the mo, then you might find us agreeing with you.

Sorry Felix, its not a pop at you, but at the powers that be that now believe we all should be placed on file just in case!!!

Even the papers are starting to see the similaritys between the little austrians, master plan, and whats happening here.

all thats happening, is the confidence we had is eroding, thats what should be addressed, not political agendas PC policing.

Yep, name correct and I remember the poor guy being on TV too immediately after his release.. Took a hell of a long time between the matter first being brought to light to him finally being set free ! Seemed like a simple yet gentle giant who somehow wouldn't blame anyone for what had happened to him.

Not one of our legal system's finer moments.
