Been looking at TVs for the kids bedroom decided to go TFT and stumbled past the Woolworths jobbie
Woolworth's = bargain! Surely not I thought. At £399 I wasn't going to lose much anyway and after all it's only going to play Scooby Doo DVDs and Xbox.
The television came today and I have to say it's unbelievable it must be some mistake. Ive got a 50 inch Panasonic in my front room and it is just as good picture quality
Although somewhat smaller but the Technosonic is pretty big under normal circumstances.
I plugged the Xbox into it And played that HD demo videoWith the skiing down a mountain and it was unbelievable.
other 32 inch TVs are at least twice the price In fact some 20 inch TVs are more expensive.

I work for Woolies, they are getting more in all the time, perhaps order one from Woolworths.co.uk and you will be allocated one when they come in.
Serious bargain, they dont make much on these, its the only item on which we dont get any staff discount !

I've got one of the original black ones (some silver ones shipping now) and its been debadged
Very happy with it and just today I ordered the 42" plasma for the livingroom thereby relegating the LCD to the bedroom where I'm going to build it into the wall at the foot of the bed so that only the thin black surround will stand proud of the wall. (don't worry on the other side of the wall is a cupboard so cooling for the rear of the TV is provided)

I doubt anyone here is worried about your tv cooling arrangements.

To get back on topic anyone looking for a TV that punches well above its price band won't go wrong with this IMHO. The only problem is getting a hold of them! There is a 150-odd page thread over at the AV forum which documents the history of interest in this TV and also the process of uncovering exactly what panel it is/isn't.
