i could have met him :-(
Couldnt be arsed to go to another work 'jolly' corporate b*ll*cks night out... Conversation in the office a week later...
Me: So, anyone interesting at the event? (thinking no, always boring I had a better night watching telly)
Colleague: Not really, well there was that bloke off Top Gear..
Me:
WHAT?
Colleague: oh I dont know some driver or summat, dunno dont watch it meself
me: you mean stig?
Colleague: yeah yeah thats it the one who always has the helmet on, thats how they introduced him on stage
me: Bullsh1t! what would he be doing at a technology awards night?
Colleague: No idea but when they introduced him you could hear all the men squeal with excitement
me: Hmmm
