Hi all, after spending the last 10 years playing drums in a Bryan Adams Tribute band I've decided to form a new band in 2007.

All the members are in place and the the "theme" of the band will be a tribute to 80's and 90's stadium rock, along the lines of Van Halen, Motley Crue GnR etc etc.

This is where you lot come in, the hardest part of a new band is asking 5 people to agree on 1 name, so, I'm looking for suitable names to put to my new bandmembers.

I'd like something with a bit of impact w/o being too cheesy, so names like "rose tattoo" or "velvet razorblade" are out I'm afraid.

I'd love to hear some ideas.

Why not use part of your own post there .."Stadium Rock" . I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions like "The dump valves" or "the spooling Turbo's" from Scoobynet though

I had a thread like this on another forum once, never got round to starting the band though
I'm going to call my group when it happens 'Special Guests', just imagine all the concert tickets your band would appear on! (One on my desk now says 'Muse featuring Special Guests' ) Save the stubs and blag away!
