I've got a t39 and I must admit that I quite like it. The battery seems to go on forever even though it is 'wafer thin'. Writing text messages is fast using 'T9' (when you get used to it) and it is very compact. Reception seems to be OK generally and the built in address book is OK.

The menus seem to slow down a fair bit when it's full of text messages - but that could be me being too impatient!

Basically my opinion is that you could do a lot worse for a phone than this.

Its also triband so if you go to the States you can use it their.

T9 is predictive text software, it helps you enter common words with a few presses of the buttons insted of cycling through to each letter
