Should I?
The local Electrical-***-Everything store has a SONY KDL40W2000 in the window for £1500.
It comes with 4 years warranty and glass stand .... only one snag ....
It has been sold and returned, the SONY Engineer has apparently installed some new software to get it working and it's back for sale ......
Thoughts?

the 'next generation' HD TV's are round the corner so unless you need one now it may be worth waiting. They are also banning the sale of goods containing materials like Cadmium etc before long so current model TVs will have to be sold off before the deadline - you should be able to get a bargin...

Pete,do you always take so long to buy something. This must be post number 567,456 regarding buying a flat screen tv. Why not take your own advice (which i do btw) and stick to your top quality CRT until BBC and ITV start transmitting in HD.

Bigger screens, better picture, longer warranty, free delivery, lower prices, NOT SONY
