Default Another work settlement question

Only a quick 1.

I did a 3 month contract which finished last month. Today I was expecting payment for the untaken leave that I had racked up. However no payment came.

The company are now looking into it (I took 2 days off and 2 sick). If I am right (an there in no reason I shouldn't be, I am entitled to be payed for untaken leave) as I no longer work for the company, would you

a) let them put it through payrol, thus delaying it another month
b) ask for a cheque

And just to complicate things, I have an interview with the same company on Monday for a full time job. I have been working for this company for the last 2 years on contracts.

They wont do a payroll run just for you, belive you me!!!!

i worked contracts for a firm and was payed on the nose every week.

when i went full time, they...forgot to pay me!!!

then they payed me, and forgot my payslip. !!

and when i left, they forgot all my overtime, which they assured me would be payed at the month end... was it bollox!!!

took a further 2 months to get money out of them!!!

But as it stands at the moment, I don't work for them.

Never had a problem with them before, hence why I went back to them again.

Cheers mate Only really doing the interview as HR want to do it by the book. If it was down to the old boss he'd have me back in a second, and infact he is 1 of the 2 people I've worked for in the last 10 years I would quite happily have as a boss.

I don't intend upsetting anyone, its just I've spent 5 month of the year out of work, and I could really do with the money.
