Angry Buying a mattress.......grrrrr

Rip-off Uk again.

Seems that WHICHEVER part of a bed you need to buy, (mattress, divan base, drawer base, etc) THAT bit just happens to cost 75% of the cost of the whole bed!

Hello

I ordered from here Memory Mattress on Wednesday and the Mattress arrived on Friday. Great service, reasonable prices.

I have a 1100 pocket spring mattress on my bed and it did cost a bit but seeing as though you spend something like 30% of your life in it, it pays to get a good one. It is sooooo cumfy !!! My mum has back problems and she bought a pocket sprung mattress with a memory foam top and she is like one of those people at the US god squad meetings, HALLELUYAH SHE'S HEALED !!! Her back and neck have never been so good in 18 years.

stuff all that, get a water bed. you'll not regret it and lasst twice as long as a std matress

got mine from these guys.
Tempur beds and memory foam mattresses: Righteous and Co.

wasn't much more than a normal bed either. mum and dad spent £1300 on there separate matress bed and after a few years you can see the inprint where they sleep. I've had my waterbed 18months and its just like it was new, you just top up with water and solution every 6 months etc.

Its worth looking int and its te best sleep I've ever had, kinky for your love life too!! lol

i had to put some Ikea rope light round the bottom.. for that barry white effect.

btw, waterbed is heated.. its great on nights like this, turned it up to 31 degreez now

Thumbs down

It's not that I object to PAYING for a mattress, as I agree with buying a good one.

What I object to is walking into a bedshop, seeing a £1500 bed, asking how much for the mattress on it's own, and being quoted £1125.

Then telling the bloke that what I really want is the base, so I'll give him £375 for it, ( ), and having him, albeit a bit sheepishly, quote me £1000 for THAT too!

And no, the name of the bedshop was NOT "Senior-Cummin"
