Why Is It ALWAYS Me?
Bloody typical this ... decided to buy a Sat Nav for the car - narrowed my choice down to a NavMan F20 from Argos at £149.
I was going to wait for the deals after Xmas - but thought what the hell - jump in now ........
Reserved one online and went the 12 miles to the Argios store which had one in - most were sold out.
Got home - sat on the drive - get it all out the box and turn it on ......... "Cannot Detect Internal Memory - Return To Dealer" comes up on the screen!! Argos will take it back as its faulty ..... but they are not open now
Bloody POOOOOOOH!! Pressed the reset button a 100 times, just the same
Does this unit need a SD Memory Card in it - cos it ain't got one!!
Bugger, wee, ****, pooh

That would have been a better ending

I don`t think so. Just reads to me like its plug and play. I don`t own one so I can`t comment whether you need an SD card or not.
I`ve only just got a digi camera
Anthony
P.S If its faulty, send the bugg£r back, I would.

Check this out F20 from Navman for reliable, easy-to-use GPS navigation
there should be a 32Mb Flash card there somewhere.
If not in unit check the box again.
If the card is there turn unit off main switch possibly on the back take out memory card put it back then turn machine back on. Like doing a reboot on PC. Using the power switch on front sends unit to stand by, Well it does on the 520.
Oops missed the link posted above sorry.

Stop whining and be thankful you have a full set of limbs and a great job at Morrisons.
Why do you need 'sat nav' anyway? Reading to Bournemouth isn't that difficult, even for you.

I've sourced another at Argos on the Ringwood Road, Bournemouth.
I've reserved it - pick up Boxing Day - I suppose they will just refund me for the one bought in Basingstoke?
