Default pc world sale ?

does anyone have a link to these laptops at £199 or the desktops at the same price!

I have heard the sale is live now to book for instore collection, but neither of these two are showing on the website

or is it just another retail scam to get people instore on boxing day, having sold all the "10 per store" to the staff before opening the doors

cheers mark

It wont be a scam Mark; stock on offers like that can be limited though. Availability is sometimes affected by store staff buying the stock as it become available too; something I couldnt ever get the f*ckers to prevent.

You will have to be quick as the ad in todays papers stated that there were only ten laptops per store @ 199.
If they open at nine i would guess all will be sold by five past
Nik.

They teach him basics of IT at school FFS,at 7 years old!

me and the missus can never get a look in on our laptop,so its gonna be a decent investment i feel, also our laptop is getting used at present for downloading movies/lost etc from bitcomet, and the laptop is no good at multi tasking when converting to dvd

maybe a Scoobynet tag team effort fella,we could just block the entrance to meadowhall retail park in the morning whilst we shop with glee

not bothering over the laptop, but the desktop pc looks a great buy,add an upgrade to the graphics card, bobs your mothers bit on the side !

The VIA C7 is a replacement for the C3 processor (it started out as an original Socket370 processor, think first socket fitting Celeron CPU). Its built using a 90nm process so its not so far out of date in that respect: its designed to be integrated (set top boxes and Mini-ITX boards) and its principal strength is that its current draw is only about 12w20w -1.5GHz/2GHz- under load (it can be silent when passivley cooled). Id expect a budget notebook PC to use a cheaper battery to reduce cost, rather than to produce a super long battery life product though.....

The choice s yours: I wouldnt buy it, although I will be using a a VIA C7 EPIA system board in a carPC that Im building.
