Default Labour membership hits record low

I wonder why

Labour party membership has plummeted to its lowest level since Tony Blair became leader, according to new figures.

Analysts say the Iraq war, tuition fees, and unpopular foundation hospital plans are responsible for membership falling to 208,000 this year - down 33,000 year-on-year.

Labour now has the lowest membership total since Ramsay MacDonald became leader in the 1930s, according to campaign group Save the Labour Party.

In 1994, when Mr Blair took up the reins of the party leadership following John Smith's untimely death, membership stood at 265,000; it surged to 407,000 at the time of the 1997 general election.

Won't be long now and they'll be out

They might be out, but as far as I can see, they will be replaced by similar clueless muppets.
