One tip from a dad of a 2 1/2 year old
The safety of the seat is paramount. Try to find one that does well in safety tests. Britax / Roemer had performed well when we bought ours

I agree - when your kid's safety is the most important thing in the world, go for the best you can. We had a Britax something or other, because of the safety rating.

I've got the same seat as the one you show for my boy (6months) except its a Britax (sp?).
Its a brilliant seat with adjustables sides and reclines. Got it from halfords £140 i think it was.

Seat works well without the isofix but I wouldn't of thought it was worth the extra money if you can't use it ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

My brother is going through this stage. He's on to his second seat now, i.e. for his son, not himself ! :-)
He went for the Recardo one displayed above. Having installed it, i.e. worked out hold to put the thing in nice and tight, must say Im impressed and his son loves it.
You bascially use the seat belt which slides through the seat and clicks in. So, you pull the seat belt tight, then lock the seats clip and there you go.
Sturdy little thing. Brought it from Halfords. IT has adjustable hieght for the seat back, has a seat booster.
