A WOMAN had to be rescued from the roof of her car after flash floods hit Headley.
Firefighters from Kingsclere, Newbury and Rushmoor were called to the area around Headley Ford at 10.46am today (Thursday).
The woman had managed to clamber onto the roof of her car as the flood waters rose to within a foot of where she was trapped.
Firefighters from Kingsclere had already rescued occupants from two other cars, which had been fully submerged.
Firefighters from Kingsclere, Newbury and Rushmoor were called to the area around Headley Ford at 10.46am today (Thursday).

Fire engines from Newbury and from Hampshire also raced to the rescue at Headley Ford, Thornford road, after a car was washed away by the rising water.
The two occupants of the vehicle managed to escape unharmed.
The vehicle was still awaiting recovery today and Headley Ford remains closed to traffic.
