Default Orange (mobiles)..any good?

There are some good deals with Orange at the mo. Is their coverage/reception as good as O2, Vodaphone etc?

At the risk of sounding obvious, it depends where you are

I've recently switched from Vodafone to Orange and the reception is way better where I live, but that could have something to do with the fact that there are about 15 very large Orange mobile phone masts on a block of flats about 80 feet away from the back of my house

I may as well be hard-wired to the network

Not quite sure I understand what people mean when they say it depends on where you are. I appreciate all providers have areas of good/bad reception but I mean on the whole over most of the country is Orange as good as O2/Vod etc

Network is good - as in coverage. Customer service is indifferent - some call centres in India - work it out for yourself. You get a replacement phone the NEXT day.

What is a bonus though is that if you spend over £40???? a month you can have free broadband. Or for £5 a month wireless, 8Meg broadband etc.

Can't be too bad as I'm still with them and I'm a fussy bugger!

I moved all the company mobiles to Orange about seven years ago and have never looked back.

Compared with o2 and Voda I've found the customer service about 100x better, although have to admit T-mob are pretty good these days as well.

Seem good to me - Been with them for ten years now.
Customer service can be very frustrating to contact at busy times though.

Best network if you live in the SW.

But isn't it the best deal around? £35/month and I get free UK lines and then 500 minutes against any mobile network at any time. On top of that free broadband and a free pda phone. Who offers a better deal than that?
