It's OK, but TBH it's still too under-developed for my liking.... but nice beaches and ok scuba!

Sounds like you've bloody travelled the world, anywhere you haven't been!?..

the pic's of the place look very nice, isn't somewhere I would have thought of going but my boss mentioned how he's been and he loved it said it was fab, looks very nice and green with fantastic looking beaches!!.. He highly recommended it!!..

It's a good holiday destination, but it's like Mexico.... it's the 'getting there' that's a PITA... once there fill yer boots! and anywhere that sells rum for $3USD a bottle gets my vote

I've been but it was six years ago and only for one day (part of a cruise) - what I did see of it was beautiful and the people were very friendly but it did seem a bit under developed (not always a bad thing!). The cruise ship staff had warned us that the locals don't speak English, hygiene facilities were not very good and that we shouldn't wear expensive watches/ carry expensive cameras etc so we did wonder if it was worth getting off the ship, anyway we did and had a great time. Much nicer than some of the more touristy Islands (although we loved Aruba..)
If you do decide to go then have a day at La Restinga National Park, nice boat ride round some lagoons.

my bro lives there ,and loves it a 1 litre bottle of vodka £1 ,beer 35p and he can fill his jeep up with petrol for £3....yes £3 he said its something like 3p a litre.
like all places some nice bits some not so nice but he come home last week and hates it here can't wait to get back
the only thing i will say it can be VERY hot there
