local post boxs are closed?
all way round my area most of the post boxs have got signs on em saying not in use etc WTF ?
someone said there not using em anymore pmsl good old royal mail cut backs again

Not quite sure I see the point in that 
Loads of post offices shut, so people can only use a post box.
Stop using a lot of post boxes in areas too - how on earht are people meant to post anything?

Not being painted are they? Seem to recall that when they are painted they tend to take them out of use to prevent people from getting covered in paint when trying to post things.

Well as a postie this is news to me
I have had no ballot paper to vote which we would normally get so I don't know what is happening, typical we are the last to know Not only that 2nd deliveries were scrapped in my area(Bedfordshire) 3 years ago.

I too have heard nothing about any strike action or ballot. That story reads like it was from a few years ago, especially the bit about us losing 750k a day!
