Not quite sure I see the point in that

Loads of post offices shut, so people can only use a post box.

Stop using a lot of post boxes in areas too - how on earht are people meant to post anything?

Have you got long arms to reach round to the slot or would you just drive on the pavement?

Not being painted are they? Seem to recall that when they are painted they tend to take them out of use to prevent people from getting covered in paint when trying to post things.

Not another terrorist threat?

NL need something quickly to deflect public opinion away from Darth Kelly and the latest Home Office fiasco.

I just, so used to do that at a local one to me a while back. I could just squeeze the car in between a bus stop and the letterbox, reach out, post the damm lot, gun the engine and annoy the hell out of the people at the bus stop

childish yes, fun, ohhh yes

Well as a postie this is news to me I have had no ballot paper to vote which we would normally get so I don't know what is happening, typical we are the last to know Not only that 2nd deliveries were scrapped in my area(Bedfordshire) 3 years ago.
Cheers
Colin

Scoob99, we meet again I too have heard nothing about any strike action or ballot. That story reads like it was from a few years ago, especially the bit about us losing 750k a day!

Normally happens here in Edinburgh if there is a royal visit or politicians visiting. Just so nobody can put any explosives in them...

Anybody important due to visit ?
