Anyone recommend a nice romantic hotel around Berkshire / Hampshire / Oxfordshire? In the countryside not the middle of a City. Will be for Valentines as thought for once Id get my *** in gear and get something booked in advance

Quite fancy something with Spa Facilities but not essential.

Upper Slaughter Hotel Rates: Hotel Prices at Lords of the Manor Hotel Upper Slaughter Bit pricey though good when on special offer.

This is good and exceellent food as well though I would imagine both are booked for valentines.

There's only one choice.......Crazy Bear at Stadhampton. (Bath at end of beds in the suites ) Wacky but not too tacky !

Countryside ?

Cowley Manor. Went for aniversary weekend, totally chilled.

Monkey Island at Bray is very nice - it is actually on an island in the Thames. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. On the downside however is that their car park is a bit remote and on the night I stayed there eight cars (including mine) were broken into

 

There's a Four Seasons with a spa near Hook. I haven't been yet but it's on the list!
