Well that was an anti climax, I got to level 8 and had absolutely no movement whatsover in my M&S Y Fronts.. :0/

You need a LOT of rockets for levels 37, 38 and 39 expecially. You also need to upgrade them for 2x the fire rate. This costs 190 as opposed to 200 for a new one so you save 10 gold by upgrading rather than buying new ones. My top score now is 14,500 but its still pathetic compared to the score board!!!

I do fire as my first research and find that 1-3 well placed fire towers will allow you to play many levels without having to upgrade or place more towers. Start with 1, then 2 and when you need them 3 but spread them out and make sure they get a number of bites at the cherry.
When it gets tougher you want to create a zone of death where there is a lot splash damage and then have a few weaker towers further down the road to pick off the weakened baddies that make it through

Only thing with them is that when you get the air attacks you need to have something else. Fire towers do it all where as water towers don't work in IMMUNE mode and earth towers in AIR mode. Better to beat them back with fire until you can research and bring rockets on board
