just been watching the news,that is now
TWO yes TWO KIDDYFIDDLERS GO FREE WTF
yet the guy who taps phones on the royals goes to jail for 4 months:eek2
its good to see british justice has got it right(not)
so whats the worst crime,destroying innocent kids lifes or listening to a phone call so you may find out that the queen hates camilla

LOL everyone moans, yet perhaps Britain is like it is because Britons are too lazy and apathetic to do anything about it. How many of you have ever actually taken the time to write to your MP, or to the newspaper? How many of you have made the effort to try and become parish councillors, or school governors, or charity volunteers, or party or union activists, or fought for other people's welfare rather than sitting at home mulling over your own? How many people have just taken a speeding ticket and paid it for the sake of a quiet life, rather than exercise their right to be heard in court?
We get the government and country we deserve. Britons should start taking some responsibility for their own predicament rather than complaining.

Written to my MP, councillors and the local rag MANY times. Usually get a self-satisfied reply, one that makes out THEY know best, or none at all. I HAVE had one or two anonymous rude letters as replies to my letters in the paper.
Unions? I was a union rep for twenty years. When I needed them, they did the bare minimum for me. Maggie killed the unions
Speeding ticket? Yep, went to court, tried all the advice given from all over. Result?
Mags IGNORED all my arguments, gave me a £100 fine instead of £60, FOUR points instead of three, and £150 costs against me
So just what HAVE I achieved?
It makes me heartliy sick reading constant jibes from people saying we need to DO something.
THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO!
In the last thirty years, we have had several governments from two supposedly distinctly different parties.
And what did we get? Lying, cheating, sleazy, cronyist, greedy, self-serving, uncaring little b@stards, that's what?
What makes you think ANY other party, politician, or even ANYONE else would be any better? They promise much, but the minute they get their noses in the trough, promises go out of the window, and greed takes over.
