I took delivery of a w850i last week - I have to say it is rather spiffing. The user inferface is probably the best I have ever used. Very swish.
I was going to go with an Nokia N73, but after having had a play with my mates, I decided that they are not quite up to the job of running a symbian OS. There is a slight delay between pressing a button and something happening.

Depends what criteria you consider important. All I was interested in was that it had bluetooth, so I went for a £60 Motorola. If it's more important to you that you can listen to music or play games on your phone than making phone calls then this may not be the best option for you.

If you want a good camera the best is the k800, this also has all the standard mp3 functionality, 3g and everything else. None of this crappy led light in the dark bollocks.. It is a proper cybershot with a proper flash. Best I have seen on any phone and I've tried most of them.(Compulsive gadget freak).

Like most people of advancing years I need specs to read. I find it a bind to carry them all the time, so I could do with a phone which has nice clear keys and a nice big screen with clear lettering for texts and numbers. Any one have any suggestions?

Nokia 5500 sport is a good one. I also have the W850i, it's a good phone for sure. Use the Nokia most of the time though, 'cos it's a rugged phone, and I don't know of anyone else thats got one, or indeed heard of it.
