Thing that really gets me about Hindus (and by that I mean those from a Hindu background as most dont believe in the actual belief sytem) is that they seem to have an inate hatred of Muslims and Islam, yet have very limited if any understanding of the religion itself..their understanding (like yours Suresh) is built on their parents prejudices together with the mass media portrayal of Islam-its almost built into the Hindu, and its really quite sad that they are all so chummy chummy 'kemchow bhai' (how are you brother) to your face, but then they are full of hatred inside....

Been with my better half for 15 odd years now and have no inclination towards marriage, certainly not after seeing my parents and my sister both get divorced, although I personally don't see what getting married gives me over what we currently have, i.e. a long standing loving, trusting, happy relationship. If it's good for you, then great, but I think this is a matter that ought to be given a great deal of thought by people before committing and it should be acceptable to not get married if it still isn't right for the couple involved.
