Default sending ebay items, parcels etc

got a few things forsale on ebay an have had loads of questions about postage to outside uk. Some seem a bit dodgey but others check out ok.

What websites do people use to check postage costs by weight without having to register an know the other persons postcode etc.

anyone ever sold and posted a full interior? how was it done and how much did it cost?

any cheap parcel companies out there or are they all around the same?

cheers

Nick

The post office post their prices online. I usually use that as a basis for small packages at least.

For small (ish) items i use a small set of scales and the post office website. I only post to the UK.

I have an absolutely hard and fast rule - I don't ship outside the UK for any reason. I don't think it makes a whole load of difference to the final sale price, and it's a whole lot safer and easier for me if I don't have to worry about being paid by someone overseas.
