What a scumbag!
I really hope they catch this scumbag... BBC NEWS | Scotland | Edinburgh and East | Man's dog attack made child sick

what about the car reg details. And did no one have a phone with a camera etc ?
Its sick. did the guy take the dog there to do this ? or did something happen there that caused him to do this? Not a good example to a child thas for sure.

They've arrested someone.
BBC NEWS | Scotland | Edinburgh and East | Man arrested over spaniel attack
I hope he gets a prison sentence but he'll probably get a small fine, maybe a few hours community service and maybe a ban on keeping animals.
He deserves so much more.

Are you condoning an act of unbelieveable cruelty as a fair response if the dog had tried to attack the kid?
Witnesses made no mention of any attack by the dog.
I'd put money on the fact that some thick as **** ned was taking kid and dog for a walk, and the dog did something "wrong" and probably entirely innocently, and got kicked half to death for it.
Regardless of what caused the attack, it is pathetic that no one appeared to do anything about it.

So you think that (as reported) repeatedly kicking it and stamping on its head after (this is a spaniel on a lead, by the way, not a pit bull running riot) is a fair way to deal with it?

Not condoning acts like this, but remember the general publc do have a habit of exagerating

2 The type of dog has a relevance.
3 I would love to know what reason would justify that attack.
4 i am intelligent enough to debate with words not having to resort to silly little icons.

Actually i called you a t*at which is not an attack merely an observation based on your inane post.
Ironic that you regard that as an "attack" and seek justification, where as kicking a defenceless animal half to death( What i would call an attack) may have a reason?

Mate, I'm not gonna get drawn into this any further, I was mearly stirring the thread a little, it has gone too far.
I do not condone cruelty, and maybe didn't read enough of the link before commenting.

I agree and we will leave it at that, perhaps this was not the thread for a wind up however you have and will retain my utmost respect for your last comment.

People love this kind of stuff even though they deny it on the surface. We have been spoon fed shock bull**** on a daily basis through news (news is only news if its over dramatised and sensational), tv programmes, adverts etc.
Sanatised minds that simply watch but do not respond - shame.
