I have always been into unusual pets and am considering buying a Mantis. Haven't looked into it a great deal yet but will get round to it.
I find them fascinating creatures but am also aware that they may have particular requirements in order for them live so would like to know as much as possible before taking the plunge.
Was just wondering whether anybody on here has had any experience of them or know of anybody who has?

There are loads of them in the wild in Spain, they quite like hanging round insectocutors. picking off zapped flies, they seem to be immue to it so they treat it like a buffet LOL

My dad used to have these, used to breed em too.He used to bring em into the house and let us hold em.Very odd creatures real alien like hehe, i used to hold em and if you moved your hand left to right they used to track you with there eyes turning their heads hehe creepy. He i dont think there the easiest pets to keep, youll obviously need a heated tank of some sort and they feed on other live animals too like flies etc. Also if i remember correctly when they breed the female eats the head of the male
