Khat is a plant grown in Africa which has similar properties to taking Coccaine.
It is cheap (in comparison) and you chew it to get high.
Lot of the so called soliders/rebels/murderers in places like Somalia take Khat, usually suppplied by their 'warlords' (murdering scum who kill women and kids), gives them energy, courage and aggression.
I do not believe it is banned in the UK and avaliable in african stores over here.
The strength diminshes quite considerably ovwer a short period of time 24+ hours from when it is picked, when fresh it is supposed to be a real high.

I interviewed a couple of Yemeni blokes recently who were chewing something. I just thought it was gum, although they were a bit edgy. The last question to them was 'where do you see yourselves in 10 yrs time'? Answer was 'deported to Yemen and chewing khat' [said in a fat Geordie accent]
At least I know what it means now!

nae offence tae anyone chewing qat, its like being an alkie or a drug addict aint it and rather work and dae something good than sitting around like an *** and chewing plantsim surprised it aint banned in the uk lol

lol but the hooka's were nice haha i used tae smoke my grandpaw;s hooka tobacco and ghoor flava lol ghoor is made oot of sugar canes, very nice

i swear this is true when i woz 16 i went for hols tae pakistan but instead i went tae the borders of afghanistan and stayed in the mountains and wild , its amazing how u can get used tae stuff withoot electricity and hot water, u need tae fetch and cut the firewood and lol let it dry and then go doon mountains or hills and fetch fresh water fae the rivers and waterfalls
see the pushtun drivers aka the pathans (khans) who take visitors or people tae their villages or over the hills and rocky mountain paths they take hasheesh as in some kind of hash tae stay alert, man i woz shocked oor driver woz taking it, i thought hash made u feel sleepy, but they take this certain type one tae wake up and be alert and their eyes r open widely lol and they hardly blink
