Question Tallinn here I come

I have decided to visit Tallinn with a mate (just 2 of us at the moment) on the 17th of May for 4 days.

Now I need some advice from the NSR peeps on where to go, sights, food, accomdation, beer, night clubs etc.

Im not going for the hookers and strippers would prefer to meet the local girls!

What I have found out so far

For Beer
8-BAR
Stereo
Pegasus
RIFF

For Food
Egoist
Gloria
Pegasus (again)
Boca
Troika

Any advice on the place and people would be great.

Scott

Good choice  Riff is (/was 2 years ago) good for meeting the locals Very cheesy music though! That's the only place I remember the name of sorry - but anywhere you go you will really struggle to find an ugly girl We stayed in an apartment just on the edge of the city centre - it was very big, well equipped and cheap, but could have been cleaner. Can't remember the name but we booked it online - will see if my mates remember the name - one might as his bro and mates went back on our recommendation.

Cheers for that mate! Was the apartment far from the action?

No worries. It was pretty well located - I think we walked everywhere except to/from the airport. Taxis are cheap though so it's not really necessary to be right in the action.

Bumping this up as I need some advice.

Cash
Should I take some currency over there like Euros/Dollars/Pounds and change it there?

When I was working in Albainia we changed a lot of Dollars into their currency at holtels. They seemed to prefer dollars to euros/pounds.

Also im liking the exchange rate of dollars to pounds at the moment.

TIA

Change a little in the airport then change the rest in town but there is only 1 good place to change up and thats on the edge of the old town close to the VIRU centre. All the other places give crap rates and usually you can tell this is the right 1 by the que going out of the door and up the street.

Most of the places mention on your list are good and I think you may have picked some up from a previous thread of mine.

Take pounds dollars mean nothing there.

Nah - get the own label currency, stuff works out much cheaper than using other stuff.
