We got a 625 Cachflow down for evaluation, having some probs with it (4th one in as many weeks) Just wondered if anyone's actually using one and are happy with the performance..
Our download speed drops from approx 250k to 25k when its in, and it won't let any https pages through.
Cheers

What are you using the cacheflow box for?
If you are using it for outbound caching e.g. speeding up your internal users web access, you'll have to wait a while whilst the cache builds up some commonly accessed pages before it gets quick.
If you are using it to improve external users browsing your company website, then you'd ba a LOT better off buying a cheap load-balancer and some small web servers - many cheap/small servers (even desktops) are better than one big one.
My experience of cacheflow type devices are that they are a bit of a con - they look good on paper, and can speed up some sites, but there is no substitute for building a proper web infrastructure - you won't need to spend much money!
Alternatively, look at caching services from Digital Island (a C&W company) or Akamai, who run large scale caching services - your content will get to the end user v.quickly if you are serving pages far and wide.
