Does anyone know if it is possible to send text messages to Croatia from a mobile phone from the UK

Phone is a Nokia 3210 with BT Cellnet Pay as you Go...

Any ideas

 

I don't see why not, it's only when you yourself are roaming that there can be problems. That's assuming your provider has a roaming agreement which they almost certainly have.

 

You can send SMS messages pretty much anywhere around the world now, most of the mobile Telco's now have interoprability agreements with other telco's abroad.

 

I would think it would work fine - I've been text messaging my daughter in the UK from NZ - just needed to know each other's full international dial code.

 

Yes you can. I have friends in Crotia and Poland, and there is no problem. Well, I say no problem: The record for a text message appearing is 5 days!!

You can also search the web for free SMS websites to Crotia.
