MOT/Tax/Insurance in putting bike back on roa
Need to avoid going to jail or getting points on my licence in putting my motorike back the road! Has no tax or MOT or insurance currently.
Guess I insure it and then book an MOT? Will I be insured to ride it there and back? Once I have the MOT I can get tax of course but am I right in assuming I dont need to push/trailer it to the MOT place?
Cheers

You will need to insure it to ride on the road, so long as you have booked it in at the MOT station and they are expecting you, you can ride it there and back. Thats as I understand it, once done its aways worth having the tax and mot out of sync so that even though the MOT may have expired its still taxed. Check with your local Bill or vehicle tax department to be sure. It could be expensive and its easy to get caught out with all these number plate reading cameras

Thanks chaps - MOT booked.
I had it with Carole Nash Les - £153 pa for a 900cc bike! Lovely!
