Default The great thomson holiday rip off

Just added another child passenger to our holiday booking and got the invoice through today 2 adults @ price £549 each...2 children @ price each £349
under occupancy supplement due to chid price is £224 times 2 = £448 which equats to the child price being £573 each which is dearer than the adult price...WTF is that all about?

Thats why I always book flights, villa, car hire etc all separately.
Get a better car, better villa , better flight times than any holiday company could ever dream of offering

In this day and age of the internet it baffles me as to why people still go for packages
Never booked one, always seperately and I travel a lot.

Challenged my parents to tell me what they were booking before they booked it for one of their holidays this year that I would be able to get them there in premium econ or business class instead of economy and, in the same hotel for cheaper than the holiday package they were forking out for.
30% cheaper as it turns out....

Anything travel related which even contains the word 'supplement' should be tossed straight into the bin IMHO

As my bro in-in-law once said to me...... "Once you've turned left after boarding a plane, you never want to turn right again"

Prefer upstairs on a 747 myself
Feels almost like a private jet up there.

i don't like it, too small. Prefer the cavernous downstairs area.
