yobs? could be worse. mutilation and murder of animals by humans is a known symptom of incipient psychopathic behaviour. if dibble catches the perp, they'll want him sectioned at rampton toute suite.

I've often thought I could probably kill another person before killing an animal for no good reason, and these are just the type of people I'd rather test that theory on!

Another one here not wanting to read the link but if they lived in my area I would be out looking for the scum responsible. That's the human race for you. Hitler only got rid of the wrong people.

That's going to take some growing, then.
Sorry to hear about the horse - as pointed out earlier, animal cruelty is the first sign of later psychotic behaviour, so the Police really need to get stuck into their investigation.

You know what really annoys me about things like this, LUCKO.
Horses are flight animals, they run away from anything, or they used to, but because we have now got them so domesticated, they trust all people
My horse would walk off with anyone. If you hear any news about the filth getting caught, please let me know

Animal cruelty is one of the things i hate the most, we are the dominant species on this planet, and what can they do to defend themselves. Any animal injures a human it gets put down, any human killing an animal gets 4 months suspended and a fine, whoop de do Bazil.

OMG - thats just horrific.
There was a spate of these sorts of attacks, and sexual attacks on horses in the local area a few years back.. the animals were being sexually abused, and then their tails were being hacked off...
there are some sick sick people about. I hope they catch up with the culprits

we've had a couple of cases of horse attacks round our neck of the woods, the first made the national papers as the poor thing was left to slowly and painfully die
And the second was a bout of random slashings, the really sad thing is that horses are normally quite trusting in people and will come over if called... what drives some sick **** to do this??? and as someone said earlier they're probably just one step away from doing the same to a person....
