Default Suggest a barbeque please

Never had one but would like to purchase this weekend. I would like it to be gas fired, not too big, easy to use and something that won't rust if I leave it in the garden under a cover.

Thanks

Buy the most expensive one you can find, then post pictures of it on here.

buy a cheap one as they only last a couple of years if you use it heavily,

preferably get one with a griddle not lava rock

Get a Webber gas one - I think they are made from the same stuff as black boxes in planes. I got an Outback about 6 years ago - it is looking like this might be its last year. My sister got a Webber about 10 years ago - it still looks like new

Beefeater or Weber are the two best makes and would suit someone that has recently won the lottery.

Aldi (of all places) have got a gas BBQ at £50.

At that price you could replace the bugger every year.

Depending on the size of the garden :

Beefeater : BBQ, Outdoor Entertaining

or if limited for space :

Flaming Barbecues UK - Buy gas barbecues, charcoal barbecues and patio heaters

I've just bought a Beefeater gas 3 burner with side pan burner

Its all metal, and REALLY sturdy, it uses stainless plates to atomise and fat spillage to prevent flameup thus prevent blackened bangers

Simple rules: Dont buy gas ones... There's nothing slightly manly about gas BBQ's and the food never tastes as good.
Also remember, always throw burnt, uneaten food over your house roof and have bun fights with the remaning buns
Surely others play such jovial bbq games?

This is true if your primary goal for a barbecue is to cook good food and have fun... however if the objective is to show off your wealth on an internet forum you'd have to go for something like this:

345 horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine powered Barbeque - Image 1 of 14 - gizmag Image Gallery

Let us know when you've got it Deep Singh!

I can beat that Aldi, Tesco are doing one for £45. You can only squeeze a few burgers on those types though - rubbish

If you want ease, rig up a microwave on an extnesion lead outside, if you want a BBQ use charcoal & griddle.

Buy a webber kettle and do a bbq not an outside grill, bought mine nearly 10yrs ago and lives outside. No rust and never cleand the racks (anything that survives the heat from a bbq deserves to live) and still looks and works a treat. Must be used 50times a year.

Guarantee eating within 1hr of taking cover off bbq due to my superb starting method.

Hey get off off Deeps back, why the snipey comments?

Reviews of things on here are usually better than the 'justify my purchase' reviews you get under a product on the 'please buy from me' websites

Yes it grates when the unpteenth plazma thread comes up

Anyway I've been considering this Image(s) for 2 Burner Gas BBQ With Side Burner - Tesco.Direct

or this http://www.flamingbarbecues.co.uk/2-...Tasman-300-BBQ - free cover but it is a small grill

gonna be Deep "Singe" more like, with a gas one.... lol.

i prefer the taste on a proper charcoal grill, but the convenience of Gas.
webber and outback are great, and remember the gas one's can be used quickly, ie: when you get home from work int' evening and fancy a quick steak in the summer)...

mind you "Barbequeing aint proper cooking"

oh and its more fun lighting a charcoal one!!!!

good luck and remember to invite us all for testing!!!

Seriously though if your going to gas barbeque why not just use your grill in the house! Its about the taste and smell not just being outside and cooking.

I've never really had a problem with time to light it - use good charcoal, some of that gel stuff firelighters etc and it only takes 15/20 minutes. Also you can get a mug like thing to light the charcoal a bit quicker and more easily - Welcome to Weber.com

They look disgusting, kind of like they are stuck in the 1970's. Surprised they don't offer fondue sets.
