Default Websites for Selling Property Yourself

My parents are looking to move soon and fancy giving this a try as detest estate agents and their fees (dont we all). Anyone else done this and know the most popular sites.

So far Ive found Sell my home, house, property with HouseWeb. The private sales specialist.

Cheers,
Simon

you really need to get your property on Rightmove.

I used Hatched.co.uk - Sell Your House With An Estate Agent Online. Nationwide Online Estate Agent. Sell Your House For As Little As £470. Coverage on Rightmove to put mine up - only 0.25%

If you contact them, tell em Jason from Carrington Court sent you!

Hmm will take a look. Parents house is valued at £475k so I think option 3 makes sense.

Had a quick go on their search facility and could not find a 3 bed semi between £100k and £500k in 3 different postcodes which is impossible. I assumed their own search engine would also show their listings on rightmove etc. Maybe a wrong assumption but have emailed them to confirm.

All they do is list you on rightmove (which to be honest is the ONLY one worth being on) & take photo's of your property.

They have to inspect your gaff for the trade descriptions bit.

Their own site is very empty as they are quite new.

Only registered estate agents can put your property on Rightmove
