Its true see here
A former SAS soldier who suffered a devastating brain injury can now "get on with his life" after securing a £4.7m government payout.
Mr Harrington said Mr Tomlinson now lacked "cognitive functioning abilities".
He would go up to people reading a newspaper and take it off them saying, 'I want that'.

He was injured serving Queen and country, by another British soldier no less. There is no Crown immunity any more.
He has not been awarded money to act like a tw@t. His behaviour is a result of his severe injuries.

I dont get it, why do you think he was acting like a tw@t? He was hit with shrapnel from what I can only deduce was a misfiring motar round which either fell short or blew the tube! (yes I am ex Para so I know a bit)
