The blocks you put in your freezer first work well.

Any good camping shop will stock them.

You can buy 12V cool boxes, they plug into the 12V socket in the car........... assuming that you taking a car. Cool packs also work well - for a few hours untill the packs melt

I bought a cool box from Halfords with a built in chiller, plugs in to mains or a 12V supply

Put the cans in your underpants. From what we know that's never seen any heat

Halfords powered coolbox thingy... very good. Which report came out top...

I use mine when camping, and it keeps beers and wine cold for the whole of a long-weekend quite easily, when powered via cigarette lighter in the car. Use it WITH the freezer block things mentioned before and you'll have cold beer all weekend long...

By far the best solution is freezing old 2 litre bottles filled water- or 5 litres bottles if you can find them and have the space in your ice box.

I've always found freezer pack rubbish- there is a product called tech-ice on the market but have never found them as good as freezing big bottles.
