Hi All,
I must admit, I'm VERY tempted to take the GF here this summer. Has anyone been?
Atlantis
Now, gven that this is a 5 star resort, I don't expect it to be cheap, but does anyone know ways to get a good deal, or am I realistically looking at a price around that quoted by Virgin of around £1200 PP for 7 days Room and Flight with transfers.
Any advice gratefully received!

DCI - I like a shaved fanny, but not a completely 'bald' one

I've heard its not very "personal" if you know what I mean.
When our cruise ship docked in the harbour people we pouncing on us selling day trips to the Atlantis, and we heard lots of people saying you are just "a number" as apposed to a guest...
Does that make sense ?

Apparently Atlantis is now open ONLY to people stying at the resort i.e. you can't use the water parks and other attractions unless you're staying there.

I had my honeymoon there for 2 weeks in June 2003 and loved every minute of it. We stayed in the Royal Towers and from memory, it cost us just shy of £3K - however, that's without food as it was accomodation only.
For the life of me I can't remember the names of all the restaurants, but have a big breakjast in the american diner round by the harbour where all the (HUGE!) boats moor up and then you won't need lunch. In the evening, there's loads of restaurants to choose from, but you'll need to book for some of them.
Whilst it was the bestest place we have ever been, since then we've been to Dubai twice (Jumeirah Beach) and if I could have done my honeymoon elsewhere, it would be Dubai without a shadow of doubt.
We do plan to go back to Atlantis, but it will be when our son is a few years older.
