holy hell i just got my mobile bill!

i have vodafone UK and i recently went back to the usa for work... got off the plane, turned my phone on, and it was working under t-mobile in some places and cingular in others... i did not think anything of it. just got the bill,

exactly.. i thought it was just a good carryover plan and that for once a bussiness partnership was actually helping the consumer... plus i have vodafone passport... (apperantly it only works in europe...)

Yeah - but they still charge the earth unfortunately..
Our corportate tariff is between 30p and £1.75 per min depending on country of origin, and to recieve calls between 19p and 90p

our prices look the same, but its 2X as much
IE:
pencil here 1.50GBP
pencil in america 1.50 dollars
pint of guiness = 2 quid
in america 2 dollars....
this bill is 520$ for me... its ludicris, imagine paying 520 quid for a bill.

But I take your point about roaming charges - they are pricey. Apparently OFTEL are "sorting it".....
