I need to send a parcel tomorrow, to the netherlands
approx weight about 8 kg, size is approx 21" (w) x 21" (d) x 6" (h)
Would it be cheaper to send via Parcel Force, or the Post Office, I only have these two options, without spending at least another fiver in petrol

off the top of my head Sonic royal mail standard parcels should be cheaper than parcel force, though the post office should be able to do parcel force 48/12 etc anyhow, just have to ask them for a price as they might not want to do it as its faffy

I'd agree, Post Office would prob be the best option.
Whenever I go down to send parcels, they always say that Parcel Force isn't up to much. Obviouly, they're paid to say it but last time I used Parcel Force, they damaged the item in transit and refused to pay any compensation.
Hope that may help a little

Cheers for the replies, looks like it is post office then (I should ask my mum really as she works for them
) but this parcel is too big and heavy to lumber her with it, as se has to walk to work, and is over 60 now too ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Im not overly concerned on how long it takes, 5 days is fine
