It's definitely a bit parched hereabouts.

Of course its fact, its just that in a hundred years or so we will have "Global cooling"...its just a shame that when that happens there will be no tax breaks for engines with turbos

Nope, it's not hype, it's a scam to make us feel better about paying stupid green taxes.

And it IS a cycle.

Try it this way round Tel

Explain to us why it isn't the result of non-indigenous farm animals grazing the local habitat to destruction over the last century or so

I don't think anyone is denying that climate change is happening.

I haven't seen many posts denying the climate is changing, I have seen loads of debate on why.

The Australian government adopted a head in the sand approach to all matters environmental, many years ago. Its not just a result of the droughts but poor planning with the resultant lack of infrastructure and a massive increase in population size exacerbating this problem.

Back in the '70s both state and national governments were being exhorted to find alternative water supplies to top up what the artesian basins could supply and very little was done. Water has always been a scarce commodity, not helped by the population concentrations and inept policy and whilst climate change probably has had some effect, this is largely a man-made problem.

Exactly the point. The climate may be changing but to even insinuate tthat the change is linked to humans is preposterous...

climate change is here, was raining this morning and now the suns out.

if it didnt keep ****ing changing the morons in the met office would be able to forecast it right also.

p.s. that article is the best part of 6 months old, if they were running out FAST back then did they run dry yet?
