Just booked a few days away for the kids in Clacton-on-sea, at one of this holiday homes. Just wondered if anyone can advise what there is to do around Clacton that they might enjoy ???

How old are your children?

There are piers at both Clacton and Walton for good old seaside fun.

You can go fossil hunting on the beach at Walton on the Naze.

Usual stuff really - Kiss me quick hats, rock, candy floss, amusement arcades, pier, fish n chips, beach, freezing cold sea, etc.

Did you not consider Southend-on-Sea, hear they have an airshow this weekend
