Nice Lab, our family used to breed pedigree ones for a number of years a while ago, normally one litter a year, fun having puppies around at a young age too!
Have to say about the dog wearing a 'coat', dogs already have a coat and dont need an extra layer. Sorry, I dont agree with people dressing there dogs up with 'accessories'!

Can't fail to love Labs
Here's our little girl Lily

Waving hello
She has an absolutely wonderful temperament, very loving and playful, plus she is also very quiet.
As for the wearing of coats, Lily does wear a coat when it's very cold, typically -10 to -30 (or colder), so I'd say that is acceptable. The only other "clothing" she wears is a lifejacket when she's on the boat.

Brings tears to my eyes. I lost my old lab max, around 2 years ago. Had him for 11years, from just 10 weeks old. Basically, I grew up with him. ![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
When we first got him.

Only put the coat on him when its peeing it down with rain, stops his coat getting wet which saves the wet flying up the walls when he gets back in the house and he shakes himself!

Gorgeous!
We have a ten month old black lab bitch and plan to have puppies with her in the not too distant future.
This is her a while back:

She is SO well behaved - Cannot recommend good puppy classes (we went for six) enough!

Just after posting this our little lab did a bit of a mad leap/fall from a 6ft bank in our garden and really hurt her front leg/paw. Thought it was broken but she's walking on it (just) with a heavy limp.
Uh oh...

Doesn't look like a broken leg - been given anti inflammatories and told to see how she goes for a week.
If still bad, it's X ray time.
Another pricey vet visit but worth it!

Feel for ya mate. Lost my Lab/staffie cross about a year and a half ago. He was 19 (had him from a puppie barely bigger than my hand since I was 10).
Heartbreaking as it was to lose him, I consider myself lucky to have known such a loving, loyal animal!
I hope all of those who've posted pics on here have log and very happy lives with their dogs!
