I'm feeling pretty good tonight. I've finally told my bank where to stick it after them starting to take the ****.
After 3 years of 20+% pay rises i.e. more money in my accounts, they reduced my credit card limit, asked for the overdraft back and started offering me loans at 16% APR (I already had one with them at 6.something) so I've voted with my feet:
Current Account moved to A+L Premier Account (6.5% interest)
Credit Card moved to Virgin (0% bal transfer for 13 months)
Loan moved to Moneyback Bank (6.3%)
**** you Mr Lloyd and Mr TSB!

I did a spring clean of all my finances two months ago.
Shifted a loan, changed both mortgages and again switched to a 0% on a credit card after the previoius 0% ran out.
They rely on you being lazy to make the cash.
People who use Barclaycard and keep balances on them are mad!

I opened an A+L premier account a couple of months ago too and after testing/trialing it with just a few hundred pounds a month and a few DD's i can't fault it
Will probably be switching to it 100% for daily/monthly banking in the next month or so
