Good news for a change 
Seems like a really nice guy so well done for hanging in there.

I saw this article on the news and my first thought was " I don't remember him being in Big brother ". the picture looked like eviction night
Don't want to make light of his capture, it must have been a right ordeal for him and his family. Makes you realise what danger journalists go through to report the news to us.

Great news to hear of his release. He sounded alright when he was speaking so I am sure he will be fully himself very soon. Must be made of strong stuff to do that job anyway.

However much I wish I could share those sentiments, and wished it was a case of the wonderful bunch of criminal thugs that kidnapped him thought "ooh, that was a terrible thing for us to do.. awefully sorry.. please leave with our blessings..", I imagine it had more to do with Hamas saying something along the lines of "let him go, or we kill you, your wife, your brothers, sisters, parents, uncles, and children in a slow and extremely painful manner." 
If you live next to a big, vicious dog.. you don't go and wind it up just to see what it will do.. and thats all these idiots did with Hamas by kidnapping Johnson.
Good to see him free, but it didn't have much to do with a petition on the BBC website

Of course it didn't do any harm... but I think the techniques that would have been used to gain his release are probably of great distaste to those wonderful liberal people in the BBC.
But like I said, good to see him free, and credit to Hamas for doing something which makes them look good on the international stage (we just won't ask about the details )
