don't mean to be a pain, or pressure anyone, but I'd really like some support with an event I'm doing in 6 weeks.
For the uninitiated, Sleepless in the Saddle is a 24 hour mountain bike race (the biggest in the world usually), for teams of riders to slog round relay style for, you guessed is, 24 hours.
I'll be doing this solo for the 3rd year, meaning I'll be doing as much as I can without dying, within the 24 hours. Last time I did around 12 hours, which is hardly record breaking, but I was pleased with it.
Anywho, there's more info on the link.
The Downs Syndrome Association, not surprisingly, funds research and supports people affected by Downs. As with most charities, they could easily be funded by the government if they dropped 1 or 2 fewer missiles a year.
