Had two missed calls last night whilst out. I looked at the numbers - 07099896322 and 07099896328.
Almost rang, until I realised that it's probably a scam. Just googled them - 0709 and it looks like it is - be warned, don't ring them back as it'll cost you money.
Oh, and don't say SIAL as some may not have heard of it before.

Funny, I've had the 1st number show as a missed call a couple of weeks ago. Didn't ring tho which I thought was odd and just came up as missed call
I was quite busy at the time and didn't ring it back but then I never do if I don't know the number. I always think if its that important, they'll try again.

I just rung one of the numbers (from work, obviously!) and it 'transfers' you to another number and then says leave a message so I did.
My message was "Good Afternoon, this is the ***** Enlargement Clinic here. Thank you for responding to the advert requiring volunteers to undertake free ***** enlargement surgery to guarantee 20% greater length and width. Unfortunately, we believe that increasing your ***** to 2.4 inches will gain you no further creditability with the ladies. Keep with the tweezers and happy w*nking from all of us at the P.E.C".
Again, it was from work and I was bored

Anyone had any calls from this number 01912 479106
Google brings up nothing on it.
I've had at least 5 missed calls from it today so rang it back on the work phone and it says number not recognised, please check and re-dial.....strange

From what I can gather from this forum, you seem to be the type to prefer to be tied up yourself and taken from behind more than the other way around

Googling on "Switched Services Ltd" seem to indicte they have been reported to Ofcom before for inappropriate use of 07 numbers "Switch Services Ltd" - Google Search

Avoid these missed-call scams: They make use of BT's number presentation feature to give a different number on a CLI screen.
The 070 number range is a personal number and in the case of 0709 they are most likely PN2 type which are charged at upto 50p/min during peak times.
Being in telecom's and owning ranges of this type, there are legitimate uses but there have been instances in the last 18months or so whereby people are mass-dialling and getting curious people to call back and be charged unwittingly.![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Be wary!!
