They get the best possible deal for their employer and rip off all the subcontractors. If they are any good that is.

Try contacting Taylor Woodrow in Solihull. Merged with Wimpey, so I believe that their Head Office is closing and 700 redundancies nationwide. Should be a few QS's amongst that lot
