Best bird pulling car..?
Ok,
Let's try this.
My best car for attracting and pulling the ladies was either:
1. '69 Triumph Herald convertible in old english white or.....
2. '98 A3 T-Sport in black with mustard yellow leather
I'd say the Herald had the edge though....
What was yours..?

1973 beige Morris Marina - It had a huge back seat!
Flash cars seem to be a real turn off.
1986 mk2 Golf GTi did the trick too.
You want to pull? Buy a classic not an M3!

Had a big discussion with the ladies in the office about this only yesterday:
1) Aston Martin
2) Ferrari
3) Porsche 911
Were the top 3.
Subaru's (boy racer / chav cars)
Lambo's - a bit vulgar, but would sh4g the driver as he obviously is loaded.
BMW's - boring (unless soft top)
Oh & the "never heard of that car's" were:
Koenigsegg
Noble
Bugatti
McLaren F1
.....not knowing what a McLaren F1 was instantly voided all of their opinions !

Betwixt 1992 - 1994, when I was 18-20, I had a 3 door red 1.1 Escort Pop... E Reg...
It saw more action with more different girls than Hugh Heffners swimming pool
My mate and I had slightly less success (but still very noteworthy) pulling girls in his E reg 1.0 Nissan Micra
I am still a good looking bastad but even if I was to drive a yellow Murcielago round these days, I wouldn't pull like I did back then, so, the best pulling cars beyond doubt are Red Escorts and Blue Micras...

Recent similar discussions have top cars such as:
Mk1 Escort
Karmann Ghia
Fiat 500
Beetle too obvious.
Anything overtly flash is considered a total turn off - and some of the girls questioned are genuinely stunning so good indicators! Mind you, this is from Bristol/Cornwall where flashy cars are often viewed as a bit sad.

Always wondered about blokes to cruise up and down in their "flash" motors hoping to pull.
Do they expect some bird to think "look, a guy in an F355, I'll stop it and leap in!"
Bristol was terrible for pose cruising - very amusing to see a car pass a bar for the tenth time in a night!

KoT - Oh yes I have - many times (inlaws have a place not far away)!
But for the best of chav mobile "pulling" go to the Kingsway in Swansea!
Not sure what's sadder though, an 18 year old in a chaviot or a 40 year old single bloke in an M3 or similar...

LOL!
We did a pi55 take when I was at Uni in Swansea.
Drove up and down the Kingsway in my Golf (mk2 GTi - whiff of chav but this was ages ago), with black tape boyo tushes stuck on (moustache sported by chavs there), with gold chains round our necks and a lad in the back banging a bass drum (he's a drummer) - Somehow we got away with it and laughed until our ribs snapped.
Happy days!

True, but how pert are 16 year old breasts?
Funnily enough, a friend of my Mrs used to say hi and be really friendly. I have recently sold my Impreza and I barely get any acknowledgement from said friend.
Quite telling IMO

jaguar e-type: 1973 V12 roadster. took my dad-in-law's one out a couple of years ago to stretch its legs. pulled at a set of traffic lights on the welford road in leicester. ghost silver, burgundy leather, whitewalls, restored to mint. it was a lady-of-a-certain age in a rangie - but still within perfectly acceptable tolerances.
my did i chuckle. i'd only been driving the car 20 minutes ...
