Who owns the crappiest non-Subaru car here?
Thought about sticking this in other marques but would rather this turned into a micky taking thread rather than a serious one
I'll start the bidding at a 1994 Peugeot 106 XND - 1360cc diesel which I bought for the princely sum of £230 (if you consider the 12 months MOT and new headlight it needed as separately billed!).
81,000 miles, utterly crap - but no rust, reliable, and almost 60mpg!!! Plus I can fill it up anywhere without having to worry about octane ratings and additives!!
Can anyone beat that for the title of "Scoobynet Sh**ter of the Year 2007"?

It's not mine so probably doesn't count but my neighbour has a new Range Rover. When he was getting it serviced an old lady drove into the dealer in a really knackered old Datsun Sunny.
He bought it off her for £20. And it had £20 worth of petrol in it.
He now uses it more than his RR and it really is minging.

total costs in 3 years 3 tyres, one back box and some disks and pads..
+ consumables (oil &filters) £540

Im currently running about in a 1998 Citroen C15 van.
1.8 diesel gives silly high MPG and its annoyingly reliable. About as basic as motoring can get but its doing fine for me just now.
yep, its based on the cab of the good ol Citroen Visa.

Daughters Nissan Micra Y reg. Has cost us a fortune to sort stuff out. Throttle body etc. Paintwork is scraped down one side and the rest is not a good finish. Not sure why.
When its running she gets good mpg as long as you dont mind the rattley noises lol. But then it does have a good stereo so she just turns up the volume....
Will never buy another Micra.

Prior to that I had a Fiesta Java M reg, 1.6 it did have alloy wheels though, paid 400 quid for it, never skipped a beat, sold on ebay with 2 weeks MOT and 2 weeks tax for 75 quid (it was going to fail its MOT)
Prior to that a Golf 1.4 Mk 2 bag of poo, paid 500 quid for it, ran it till the engine was about to die, and flogged it for 100 quid

I use a Mondeo as a run about.
Mk2 version, 88k, 2 litre with cd player - yippee!
Paid £240 for it with 9 months of MOT still left.
Bargain. Very good car and no slouch with 40mpg economy. I'd definitely have a newer one if I ever needed a new motor.

'97 seat ibiza 1.0....
central locking - broken, have to unlock from the boot, which isn't so good as the boot lock only works about 20% of the time...
electric windows... left one broken...
0-60 about 3 months and generally about 35mpg
'A to B' I keep telling myself...

Vauxhall Corsa GSI, with 133k, needs jumpstarting at least once a week, half-blown head gasket, keyed one side, and very rusty bonnet. Oh, and it seems to use more oil than petrol!!!!

its not in my posession anymore, but this has to be in the running
A g reg Volvo 340, with 55k on the clock and one previous owner. I bought it for 250 quid so what did i do?
Lowered the **** out of it, welded the diff then took it drifting!
I eventually sold it to some guy who gave me 450 quid for it. Its now a cube of metal after he sold it to a total nugget who crashed it
astraboy.
